Here are some photos from a saltbox kitchen we did. This is one of my favorite islands we've ever made. It's two-level, has lap drawers, a lower pantry cupboard on the upper level, a glass display on one end, a cookbook cabinet on the other, and two base cabinets on the range side with our curly maple oil finish countertops. It's a fantastic entertaining and cooking piece. -David T.

I am working on our summer kitchen in Ohio so I'm using this this Kalamazoo cook stove that I bought from my friend Bob Horwood. He was a great tinsmith who lived in Southern Michigan and heated his tin shop with this stove. I just need to get the chimney in so it can be used indoors. I have some nice antique marble slabs for the base and back. Really cool piece. -David T.
