How to fix a pottery chip

We sometimes get questions from customers whose plates have been chipped about how best to perform a repair. In this video, Cody demonstrates how to fix a chip and make it look like it's supposed to be there.

Ohio Salt Box Tavern Remodel on the Market

Project – Solitude History. Nature. Comfort. Beauty. What do you do when a long time customer and friend requests your expertise to assist in the remodel of their much loved family home? You do your best to deliver. Located just a few miles from our shop in Morrow, Ohio  and newly listed on the market , this 1755 New England salt box tavern was moved to southwest Ohio in the 1980s and rebuilt as a home on a plot of more than 10 wooded acres. It is an exceptionally beautiful and private location with pool, hills, creek, and trails to explore. The home features original raised panel woodwork, wide plank pine floors, and operational fireplaces. We have just installed a custom designed kitchen and vanities in the completely remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. The union of old & new - original features and newly modernized functional areas- culminates in a breathtaking interior. A nature lover’s haven. An antique collector’s treasure. A family’s sanctuary. Mission – Complete ...

Osage Beach Kitchen Design

We spent last night in Osage Beach, Missouri, measuring up for a kitchen. The house actually sits on piers out in the lake. It's a beautiful location. I'm sure it rocks in the summer time. Installation is scheduled for Spring. -David T.

Home Cabinetry Remodel Project

Check out some of the cabinet work we did in this awesome home. When we're involved in a major remodel project like this, it gives us the chance to work with the homeowners to design all of the pieces from scratch so that they complement each other well. -David T.

Nantucket Kitchen

I love designing kitchens. Every kitchen I design, large or small, is important to me and gets my full attention--but some projects are extra special. We are going to Nantucket on Monday to measure up one of those extra special jobs. What a privilege it is to be involved in such an awesome historical project. -David T.

1990s Collected Kitchen

We did this kitchen in a 1990s tri-level house in a town south of Chicago several years ago. From the outside the house looks like all the other houses on that street, but when you walk through the door you would think you were in an 1800s Pennsylvania farm house. Our "collected" kitchen style and their assortment of antiques and folk art really give the interior a great "old house" feel. You don't have to have a period home to utilize the period style. -David T.

Stone Mill Kitchen

This was a fun project we did a few years ago in a stone mill on a large horse farm south of Lexington. We redid the upstairs using Shaker style built-ins with hidden features and renovated the downstairs as office space with a "collected" kitchen. This would be a great place to go to work every day! The outside mill stream is beautiful. David T.
