Stone Mill Kitchen

This was a fun project we did a few years ago in a stone mill on a large horse farm south of Lexington. We redid the upstairs using Shaker style built-ins with hidden features and renovated the downstairs as office space with a "collected" kitchen. This would be a great place to go to work every day! The outside mill stream is beautiful. David T.

Thomas Toft English Reproduction Redware

We started doing redware pottery in 1984. In the late 1980s I went to England to research early English and German redware. I toured the Victoria and Albert as well as the British museums and came home with hundreds of photos. This was long before I could Google it. The photo below is of a 17th century English reproduction thrown plate just done this week by our master potter Chris Woods. It is awesome. Chris has been with us for 30 years. What a fantastic talent! -David T.

Saltbox Kitchen Island

Here are some photos from a saltbox kitchen we did. This is one of my favorite islands we've ever made. It's two-level, has lap drawers, a lower pantry cupboard on the upper level, a glass display on one end, a cookbook cabinet on the other, and two base cabinets on the range side with our curly maple oil finish countertops. It's a fantastic entertaining and cooking piece. -David T.
